Hello all, no particular topic here.  I have been using Big Oven software for several months but just recently started hanging out on the site, in fact I have it up as my startup page :).  I love reading all of your recipes and words of wisdom, and hope to learn tons.  You are a great crowd and I look forward to making many great recipes.  I haven't posted any myself yet, but hope to very soon!

New to this site. Not quite sure how it works.

A bit about me, I am a pretty good home cook with some professional experience and training.

The question is use of dried chestnuts. DH brought me a bag of them. I boiled some in salted water drained and used in stuffing a chix. last night. Pretty good. Any ideas on how they should be used? This is a new ingredient to me.
