1 1/2 ga WATER; BOILING 12 lb WATER; ICE
6 1/2 ga WATER; COLD 3/4 lb TEA BLACK INDIVIDUAL BAGS

1. OMIT STEP 1. PLACE 12 1/4 OZ (4 1/8 CUPS) BLACK, LOOSE TEA IN A CLOTH BAG, LARGE ENOUGH TO HOLD 3 TIMES THE AMOUNT. TIE TOP OF BAG. BRING 1 1/2 GAL WATER TO BOIL; TURN OFF HEAT; ADD TEA BAG. ALLOW TO STEEP 3-5 MINUTES REMOVE BAG. POUR HOT TEA INTO 6 1/2 GAL COLD WATER. SEE NOTES 1 AND 2. 2. SERVE OVER CRUSHED OR CUBED ICE. NOTE 1: YIELD: 8 GAL STRONG TEA.
