Ichiban Dashi Ingredients

1 Piece dried kelp 1 1/2 c Dried bonita shavings
6 c Water

Instructions for Ichiban Dashi

Combine kelp and water. Bring to a boil. Add bonita shavings. Return to a boil. Allow to cool. Strain through a sieve. Posted to recipelu-digest Volume 01 Number 239 by James and Susan Kirkland on Nov 10, 1997
