Quaker Oats Cookies Ingredients

1 c Margarine or butter;	1 ts Baking soda
1 c Firmly packed brown sugar	1 ts Ground cinnamon
1/2 c Granulated sugar	1/2 ts Salt; optional
2 Eggs	3 c Quaker Oats; Quick or Old
1 ts Vanilla	1 c Raisins
1 1/2 c All-purpose flour	1 c Chopped nuts; optional

Instructions for Quaker Oats Cookies

DIRECTIONS: Heat oven to 350F. Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; add to margarine mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats, raisons and nuts, mixing well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet Bake 15 minutes or until light golden brown.
