Italian Sausage and Rice Casserole Ingredients

1 lb Owens hot sausage 1 sm Jar sliced pimentos
1 c Onions; chopped 1 tb Heinz 57 sauce
1 c Green pepper; chopped 1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 c Rice Salt and pepper to taste
1 lg Jar sliced mushrooms Parmesan cheese; (optional)

Instructions for Italian Sausage and Rice Casserole

Brown sausage in skillet. Drain and crumble sausage and place in large casserole dish. Saute onions and green peppers in sausage grease. When these are tender, add rice and saute. Stir well; add mushrooms and saute. Add all of this to the sausage in casserole dish. Add pimentos to sausage mixture. In same frying pan, bring beef broth, steak sauce and Worcestershire sauce to a boil. Pour over rice mixture and mix together. Bake covered in a 350 degrees oven for 30 minutes.
