Instructions for Italian Sausage with Peppers

Layer sausage on top of broiling pan. Prick each piece of sauce a few times with toothpick. Sprinkle a little hot pepper over sausage. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Place sausage in oven. When sausage is brown on one side, turn over and brown other side, then take out and leave on side. In an electric or regular frying pan, put in a little oil and brown peppers. When peppers are a little soft, add onion and let brown with top off and add a little salt and pepper. When lightly browned, turn off and add sausage to peppers and onions. Mix together and leave in pan until ready for dinner. About 25 minutes before serving, simmer over low heat. Take an Italian hoagie and put sausage, peppers and onions in roll and enjoy with a nice Italian salad vinaigrette and a nice glass of white Cavit Pinot Gegio wine. Bona Appetite.
