Jack Daniels Crab and Corn Chowder Ingredients

4 1/2 tb Flour 1 c Cream
1/2 c Celery 3/4 c Dungeness crab meat
1/2 c Onion 1 pn Thyme
3 tb Butter 1 pn Salt
1 c Red potatoes -- diced 1 pn Black pepper
2/3 c Fresh corn 1/2 ts Old Bay Seasoning
1/2 tb Crab base -- OR 1 tb Minced fresh parsley
1 Chicken boullion cube 2 tb Jack Daniels Whiskey
1 1/2 c Water

Instructions for Jack Daniels Crab and Corn Chowder

Precook potatoes, drain, cut and set aside. Sweat onions, celery and corn with butter, add flour and thyme and cook 5 - 10 minutes. Add water and crab base, Old Bay Seasoning, parsley and 1/2 cup of the crab meat. Add heavy cream and bring to 180 degrees. Add potatoes and salt and pepper to taste.
