Jalapeno Cornbread #2 Ingredients

3 c Pioneer cornbread mix (or 1 2/3 c Milk
1 cn (14-oz) cream corn 1 lg Onion; chopped
1/2 c Oil 1 1/2 c Sharp cheddar cheese; grated
3 Eggs; beaten 1 ts Salt
4 -(up to) 3 ts Sugar
9 Jalapeno peppers

submitted by: as5x@avery.med.virginia.edu (Amy Smalley, Charlottesville VA) Here is a great cornbread recipe. My husband and I could eat a whole pan in one sitting! Mix everything in a bowl. Pour into a 13x9x2 casserole and bake at 450 for about 35 minutes. It may be a little gooey in the middle but will set when you let it cool (although we usually cant wait that long.)
