Kinda Sorta Ingredients

1 lb Smoked sausage; cut in 1 15 oz Tomato sauce
2 c Rice; uncooked Water
1/2 c Onions; diced Salt; pepper, garlic powder,

Instructions for Kinda Sorta

In a heavy Dutch oven, brown sausage on medium-low fire until very well-browned and pieces stick to bottom of pot. Bottom of pot should be "gunky and sticky". Add tomato sauce, rice, 4 cups water, onions, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Bring to a good boil. Reduce heat to low and cover. Cook on low for 30 minutes or until rice is done. Do not let rice stick to bottom of pot; you will need to add water once or twice to completely cook rice. NOTES : This recipe is called "Kinda Sorta" because its kinda, sorta like Cajun jambalaya. My mom was missing a couple of ingredients for jambalaya one day and came up with this dish. Its very easy and very good.
