Layered Casserole Ingredients

4 4-oz flounder or other lean 3/4 c Onion; chopped
1/8 ts Pepper 1/2 Green pepper; chopped
1/3 c All-purpose flour 1 c 1% cottage cheese
2 Egg whites; lightly beaten 1 cn (8-oz) tomato sauce
Vegetable cooking spray 3 tb Lite sour cream
1 tb Margarine; divided 6 tb Lite cream cheese
1/2 c Chablis or othe dry white 1 ts Salt
1/3 c Chopped green onions 1/2 c Fat free cheese
3 tb Lemon juice 3 c Cooked pasta; drained
1/8 ts Salt Black pepper to taste
1 lb Ground turkey breast or

Instructions for Layered Casserole

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat and onion in large skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer 7-8 minutes. In large bowl combine green pepper, cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Spray large casserole dish (9x13-inch) with non-stick cooking spray. Cover bottom with pasta. Add a layer of meat mixture. Pour cottage cheese mixture for next layer and top with shredded fat free cheese.Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Entire recipe makes 8 servings.
