Baking powdr: 1 teaspoon Chervil: parsley; tarragon
Basil: tarragon or summer Chives: green onion tops; or
Basmati: long grain white Chocolate: baking;
Bay Leaf: thyme Chocolate: baking;
Bok Choy: Napa Cabbage; Chocolate: semi-sweet; 6 oz.
Bouquet Garn: 3 sprigs Cinnamon: allspice use less;
Brandy: Cognac or Rum Clove: ground=allspice;
Bread Crumbs: 1/4 C dry=1/4 Corn Meal: grits; polenta
Beef Broth: 1 bullion cube + Corn Starch: flour for
Bulger: cracked wheat or Corn Syrup: 1 1/4 C
Butter: margarine; or Cream: Clotted; = heavy
