Master Recipe for Sauteeing Pork Chops (Mf) Ingredients

2 tb Vegetable oil 2 ts Dijon style mustard
4 Pork rib or loin chops (1 & 2/3 c Dry white wine or chicken
1 c Sliced exotic mushrooms such 2 tb Butter
1 c Sliced red bell peppers 1 tb Chopped parsley or cilantro

Instructions for Master Recipe for Sauteeing Pork Chops (Mf)

Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium high heat. When hot, add pork chops, turn heat to medium and brown them for about 4 to 5 minutes a side. Remove them to a plate and add the mushrooms and bell peppers and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until they give off their juices. Return the chops to the pan, cover and simmer slowly 4 to 5 minutes a side or until just cooked through. Remove chops, add mustard and white wine and boil down until syrupy. Add butter herbs and spoon sauce over chops. My wife wanted pork and I had some portobello mushrooms in the fridge so I tried this one. Tasted great even though I did forget to add the butter at the end. I will be making this one again for sure.
