Mikes Salse Di Pomodoro Alla Puttanesca Ingredients

2 1/2 cup Plum tomatoes peeled, chopped, canned1 cup Kalamata olives sliced
2 tablespoon Olive oil 1 each Hot red pepper small, minced
3 clove Garlic minced2 teaspoon Capers
2 tablespoon Parsley dried1/2 teaspoon Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano 8 ounce Spaghetti cooked
10 each Anchovies chopped

Instructions for Mikes Salse Di Pomodoro Alla Puttanesca

Cook the spaghetti per package directions.

Meanwhile, saute the garlic in the olive oil till bubbly, but not brown. Add the tomatoes, parsley, oregano, olives, peppers, anchovies, and capers. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened a bit. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Drain the pasta when done cooking, toss with the sauce

Sprinkle with some parmesan, if preferred, however, I think it detracts from the flavors of the sauce.
