Moist Johnny Cake Ingredients

1 c Flour	1 Egg
1/2 c Sugar	3 ts Baking powder
1 c Corn meal	3 tb Honey
1 c Milk	3 tb Cooking oil
1 ts Salt

Instructions for Moist Johnny Cake

Sift together flour, corn meal, baking powder and salt. Beat egg, add sugar. Heat milk to lukewarm and add honey to milk. Add the beaten egg and oil, add dry ingredients, mix until smooth. Bake 400 degrees, 20 minutes or a little longer. Pour into greased muffin pan (12 medium sized) or bake in 9"x9" pan. Posted to Kitmailbox by Paula Thompson on Jul 07, 1997
