Nut Crescents (#) Ingredients
Basic Holiday Cookies; *see
Instructions for Nut Crescents (#)
Prepare Basic Holiday Cookie dough, with the following changes: Substitute 1/2 tsp. almond extract for vanilla; reduce flour to 1 cup; stir 1 cuip ground blanched almonds or pecans into dough. Wrap in plastic; refrigerate until chilled. For each cookie, roll rounded Tablespoon of dough into 3 inch-long rope. Shape into crescent. Place on baking sheet lightly coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake in 350 F. ovn for 10-12 minutes. While still warm, roll in granulated sugar. Cool on rack. Decorate with squggles of white and chocolate icing or melted chocolate. Let harden. Makes about 18 cookies.
