Preparation

In large bowl, stir together sugars, oil and eggs until well combined. Stir in oatmeal, flour, wheat germ,baking soda and salt until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and almonds. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly with fingers. Bake at 350 degree for 8-10 mins. or until set and golden brown Remove cookies to a rack to cool. While oatmeal is good for them in a bowl, it's even better in a cookie.

They just taste great! And others keep asking for the recipe. The fact that they have healthy ingredients like wheat germ and oatmeal is very appealing. I've made them with milk chocolate chips as well and they seem to be even more well liked :)
