Old Fashioned Macaroni and Cheese - Southern Living Ingredients
8 oz Elbow macaroni; cooked
3/4 ts
Salt
4 c 16 ozs shredded
cheddar
1/4 ts
Pepper
2 lg
Eggs
Paprika
1 1/2 c
Milk
Instructions for Old Fashioned Macaroni and Cheese - Southern Living
Recipe by: Southern Living Layer one third of macaroni in a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish; sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups cheese. Repeat layers once; top with remaining macaroni. Reserve remaining 1 cup cheese. Whisk together eggs and next 3 ingredients until blended; pour over macaroni. Bake covered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until thoroughly heated. This is easy and really tasty. The only thing I did different is when the last cup of cheese was added I put it back in the oven and cooked it another 10-15 minutes uncovered. One more thing I will do is cut back on the salt the next time I make it.

This is easy and very tasty. The only thing I did different was when the final 1 cup of cheese is added I put it back in the oven uncovered for 10-15 minutes. Next time I will reduce the salt. Other than that it's great and easy!
