Onion Chowder (Uisoep) Ingredients

2 c Finely chopped onions 2 tb Soft butter
2 ts Salt 2 tb Flour
3 c Boiling water 1/8 ts Ground white pepper
2 c Milk

Instructions for Onion Chowder (Uisoep)

source:The Wonderful World of Cooking Boil onions in salted water for 30 minutes. Add milk. Bring to almost boiling. Blend butter and flour, stir into milk mixture, cook, stirring for 5 minutes.
