Orzo and Walnut Alfredo Ingredients

1 tb Butter 1/2 c Heavy cream
1/2 c Chopped walnuts 1/4 ts Salt
1 1/2 oz Parmesan cheese; (grated=1/3 1/2 ts Pepper
1/2 lb Orzo 1/4 c Snipped chives or scallion

Instructions for Orzo and Walnut Alfredo

Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the walnuts and cook until lightly browned, about 1 minute. Grate the cheese. Cook the orzo in boiling salted water until just done, about 5 minutes, and drain. Return the orzo to the pan and stir in the cream, cheese, salt and pepper.
