Oven-Fried Chicken with Lemon Sauce Ingredients

SAUCE CHICKEN
1 tb Soy sauce 1/2 c Unsifted flour
1/4 ts Salt 2 ts Paprika
1/8 ts Pepper 2 1/2 Broiler-fryer; cut up, (up
1/4 c Oil 1/2 c Butter or margarine; melted
1/2 c Lemon juice 1 ts Salt
1 Clove garlic; crushed 1/4 ts Pepper
2 tb Lemon rind

Instructions for Oven-Fried Chicken with Lemon Sauce

Jody Prival http://dinnercoop.cs.cmu.edu/dinnercoop/Recipes/subjects/turkey.html Combine all sauce ingredients; mix well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before using. Combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika and use to coat chicken pieces. Arrange chicken pieces, skin down, in a single layer in a shallow pan. Brush chicken well with butter. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes at 400oF. Turn the chicken; pour sauce over it. Bake for 30 minutes longer, or until chicken is golden-brown and tender. Posted to recipelu-digest by LSHW on Feb 18, 1998
