Unstuffed Cabbage Ingredients

2 lb Chopped meat; (I use turkey) Grated onion
1 Egg 32 oz Ketchup
1/4 c Rice 1 l Ginger ale
1 Head of cabbage

Instructions for Unstuffed Cabbage

Source: "Noshes and Nibbles" Beth Ahm Israel, Cooper City, Fl. Cut cabbage into 1" strips and put into 8 quart pot. Add ginger ale and ketchup. Cover and bring to boil; cook 15 minutes. Grate onion into chopped meat; add egg and rice and mix well. Form into balls and cook in the sauce and cabbage. Cook 1 1/2 hour on low temperature.
