Tortas Ingredients

1 French stick; (baguette 1/2 Lettuce; shredded finely
; into four, or 4 1/2 Onion; sliced finely in
; large crusty rolls ; rings
250 g Frijoles Refritos; (re-fried 2 Tomatoes; sliced finely
; recipe on site 1 Avocado; sliced
; (8oz) 4 tb Soured cream
4 sl Processed cheese; ham, Chiles an Vinagre; (pickled
; or cold pork ; optional

Instructions for Tortas

Cut the piece of bread or each roll in half and remove the centre. Spread the bottom with the warm re-fried beans and then top with a slice of the cheese or meat, some lettuce, some onion rings and tomato slices, a slice or two of avocado and a tablespoon of soured cream.
