Tovas Warm Fruit Compote Ingredients

1 lb Mixed dried fruit; cut into 2 cn Mandarin oranges
1/2 c Sweet red wine 1 cn Cherry pie filling
2 cn Pineapple chunks or tidbits; 1/4 c Wine

Instructions for Tovas Warm Fruit Compote

Pour the wine over the dried fruit. Add enough water to cover the fruit. Soak overnight. Drain off the wine and put dried fruit in 9 x13 pan. Drain pineapple chunks, reserving 1/4 cup of juice, and add them to the pan. Drain the mandarine oranges and add to the pan. Add the pie filling, reserved pineapple juice, 1/4 cup wine. Mix gently.
