Thai Salad with Usa Pears Ingredients

2 USA Bosc Pears; sliced and Etc.)
Lemon juice HOT PEANUT DRESSING
12 md Sized cooked shrimp; shelled 1/4 c Peanut butter
1 md Cucumber; seeded and 2 tb Soy sauce
Cut 1 tb Sesame oil
1 md Carrot; peeled and julienne 1 tb Vinegar
Cut 1 tb Honey
1 tb Chopped parsley or cilantro 1 Clove garlic minced
2 c Various greens; torn to bite 3/4 ts Bottled hot pepper sauce
Pieces (Romaine; butter 1/4 ts Cayenne pepper

Instructions for Thai Salad with Usa Pears

Dip pear slices in diluted lemon juice to prevent browning. Toss together shrimp, cucumber, carrot, and cilantro or parsley. On individual salad plates, mound shrimp mixture on bed of greens. Arrange pear slices at edge of plates. Serve with 3/4 cup Hot Peanut Dressing. Hot Thai Peanut Dressing: Combine all ingredients. (Cayenne may be omitted, to taste.) Mix well. Makes about 3/4 cup. Makes 6 servings. Always be sure to use ripe pears.
