Yogurt Baked Chicken Ingredients

2 Chicken breasts, halved 1 c Fresh bread crumbs
1/2 ts Onion powder 1/2 ts Garlic powder
1/4 ts Cayenne pepper 1/8 ts Ground ginger
1/3 c Plain low-fat yogurt

Instructions for Yogurt Baked Chicken

Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly spray a medium size shallow baking dish with vegetable spray. Rinse chicken and pat dry. In a shallow pan, combine bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper and ginger. Dip chicken in yogurt, then into crumb mixture. Place in prepared dish. Bake uncovered, 45 to 50 min, or until tender. Cal: 254, Fat: 5 g.

This dish is very flavorful and has a nice kick to it! I would reduce the cooking time to 30 - 35 minutes next time I make it.

Coating has a nice bite, use 3/4 cup of bread crumbs I threw a lot away. Try to cut an equal thickness when halving and trim the ends, or they will over cook.
