Stewed Plum Tomatoes with Rosemary And Garlic Ingredients

4 tb Butter 2 tb Sugar
6 Cloves garlic 3 tb Sherry vinegar
12 Tomatoes; cored & quartered Salt and pepper; to taste
3 Sprigs rosemary; chopped

Instructions for Stewed Plum Tomatoes with Rosemary And Garlic

Melt butter in pan. Add garlic and roast for 2-3 minutes. Add tomatoes, rosemary, sugar, sherry vinegar, salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes. Remove garlic cloves and serve. Recipe by: Cooks Garden Catalog, Spring/Summer 99 Converted by MM_Buster v2.0l.
