Spiced Pork Meatballs in Tomato And Coriander Sauce Ingredients

THE MEATBALLS25 g Plain flour; (1oz)
500 g Waitrose Farmhouse or 15 ml Olive or sunflower oil;
; Ground Pork THE SAUCE
15 ml Fresh coriander; chopped 30 ml Olive oil; (2tbsp)
1/2 md Onion; peeled and finely 1 sm Onion; peeled and chopped
; chopped 1 400 g can Waitrose Italian
55 g Fresh white breadcrumbs; 2 1/2 ml Each ground coriander and
2 1/2 ml Each ground coriander and 15 ml Fresh coriander; chopped
Salt and pepper Salt and pepper

Instructions for Spiced Pork Meatballs in Tomato And Coriander Sauce

To make the meatballs, place all the ingredients, except the flour and oil, into a bowl and thoroughly mix. Sprinkle a little flour onto the work surface, make 16 balls with the meat mixture and roll them in flour. Heat the oil and gently fry the meatballs for about 6-8 minutes or until brown. Transfer to a warm plate. To make the sauce, place the olive oil and onion in a pan and cook until the onion is soft. Add the tomatoes with their juices and the remaining ingredients and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Place the meatballs in the sauce and continue simmering for a further 4-5 minutes or until thoroughly cooked and there is no pink meat. If the sauce is too thick, add a little water. Serve immediately. Converted by MC_Buster. NOTES : Meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce make a delicious family lunch or supper dish - you can adjust the amount of spice to suit your familys taste.
