Pasta with Bacon And Walnuts Ingredients

350 g Tagliatelle 1 Onion; chopped
Seasoning 75 g Walnuts - chopped roughly
50 ml Olive oil 450 g Plum tomatoes; skinned and
250 g Smoked bacon cut into strips 4 tb Flat leaf parsley; chopped
2 Cloves garlic - peeled and 1 Lemon; rind of

Instructions for Pasta with Bacon And Walnuts

1 Cook the spaghetti in a pan of boiling salted water. Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the garlic and onion for 3-4 minutes, afterwards adding the bacon and continuing to cook for a further five minutes. 2 Stir in the walnuts, tomatoes, parsley and lemon rind. Heat gently until piping hot and season. Drain the pasta, place back in the pan and heat through. 3 Toss the pasta with the bacon sauce.
