Ingredients

  • 8 Dessert apples; peeled and
  • ; quartered
  • 6 ts Granulated unrefined sugar
  • 8 tb Wholemeal flour
  • 4 tb Low fat spread
  • 4 ts Granulated unrefined sugar;
  • ; topping)
  • 4 tb Rolled oats

Preparation

Poach the apples in just enough water to wet them with the sugar over a low heat. When they are soft, place them in an ovenproof dish. Rub the flour, oats spread and sugar together to make a mixture which resembles breadcrumbs. Use this to cover the apples. Bake in the oven at 190?C/375?F/gas mark 5 for about 20 minutes, or until the top is crisp. Converted by MC_Buster. Converted by MM_Buster v2.0l.
