Williamsburg Scalloped Oysters Ingredients

1/2 c Butter 1/2 Minced green pepper
1/2 c Flour 1/2 Minced garlic clove
1 1/2 ts Paprika 1 ts Lemon juice
1/2 ts Salt 1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1/4 ts Pepper 1 qt Oysters with liquid
1 ds Cayenne 1/4 c Fine cracker crumbs
1 sm Minced onion

Instructions for Williamsburg Scalloped Oysters

Melt butter in saucepan; add flour, cooking & stirring until light brown. Stir in paprika, salt, pepper & cayenne. Add onion, green pepper & garlic; cook over low heat 5 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat & add lemon juice, Worcestershire & oysters (which have been picked over & heated in own juice). Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole; top with cracker crumbs.
