Fruity Ice Cream Brioche Buns Ingredients

4 Brioche buns; (very fresh) 350 g Strawberries
4 Scoops ice cream; such as 3 tb Caster sugar
; (* see recipe), 2 tb Grand Marnier; (or any
; pistachio or ; liqueur)
; strawberry 50 g Shelled pistachio nuts;
FOR THE FRUIT COMPOTE Freshly ground or cracked

Instructions for Fruity Ice Cream Brioche Buns

1 For the Compote: Roughly chop the strawberries and sprinkle over the sugar and Grand Marnier. Set aside for a few minutes to marinate. Cut the tops of the brioche, hollow them out and spoon in a scoop of the ice cream. 2 Sprinkle the black pepper generously over the strawberries and spoon the strawberries over the ice cream with the juices.
