Suggest a better description1. To make the pastry, place the flour, salt, butter and water in a bowl and mix well. 2. Press into a 20 cm (8inch) fluted flan case and bake blind in a preheated oven 200 C, 400 F, Gas Mark 6 for 12-15 minutes. 3. For the filling, beat together the butter, cheeses, creme fraiche, eggs, chives and seasoning. 4. Spoon into the pastry case and return to the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden. NOTES : A classic flan, combining the distinctive flavours of goats cheese and a hint of chives. Delicious served hot or cold with salads.
