Ensalata Caprese Ingredients
4 Beefsteak
tomato
es
4 tablespoon Extra-virgin
olive oil
1 pound Fresh
mozzarella
cheese
1 tablespoon
Balsamic vinegar
8 Fresh
basil
sprigs
Salt and
pepper
; to taste
Instructions for Ensalata Caprese
Slice tomatoes and mozzarella uniformly, about 1/3-inch thick. Arrange alternating slices of tomatoes and cheese on serving platter. Top with basil. In a small bowl, combine oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Drizzle over dish and serve. Serves 4.
