Suggest a better descriptionMy dad makes this all the time. It is a good way to get the kids to eat it. Beat egg well. Mix flour, salt and pepper. Dredge "fries" in flour, then dip in egg, then roll in crumbs. Set on waxed paper and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to "set" coating. Heat oil in heavy fry pan until very hot.
