"Chinese" Chicken Salad -By David Cassidy Ingredients

6 oz Chicken breast per person 1 cn Mandarin oranges (save the
Olive oil Juice)
Ground ginger 1/4 c Crispy chow mein salad
Teriyaki sauce Noodles
Sesame seeds For the dressing:
1 Romaine lettuce 1/4 c Olive oil
1 Butter lettuce 1 tb Sesame oil
Carrot 1/2 c White wine vinegar
Green onion 1 tb Sweet & sour sauce
Green and red peppers Pineapple and mandarin juice
Alfalfa sprouts From cans
Cucumber 2 tb Brown sugar
Pine nuts [can sub walnuts] 1 pn Nutmeg
1 cn Pineapple pieces (save the 1 ts Dijon mustard
Juice) 1 c Water

Instructions for "Chinese" Chicken Salad -By David Cassidy

Wash and pat dry the chicken and cut into cubes. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Toss the chicken cubes in teriyaki sauce and ground ginger. Add to the skillet and fry, stirring constantly, until cooked through. Set aside to cool. Wash and chop all raw ingredients (amount would vary as to how many you were preparing for) - In a large salad bowl, combine with chicken and garnish with chow mein salad noodles. In a blender, mix together all the dressing ingredients and add salt, pepper, dijon and sesame oil to taste. Serve with garlic bread. From: Al Date: 24 Jan 97 Jewish-Food List ?
