Preparation
Using the pastry cutter, cut 2 rounds from each slice of bread. Spread thinly on one side with the butter or margarine. Mix together the tuna and mayonnaise and use to fill 6 sandwich rounds. Fill 6 sandwiches with cream cheese or sliced cheese and the rest with marmite or other savoury spread. Arrange the salad leaves on a large plate or a chopping board covered with foil. Place the sandwiches on the leaves in a line, alternating with the brown and white bread to form the Caterpillars body. Arrange the pepper strips and twiglets by the sides of the Caterpillar as legs. Press 2 twiglets into the top of the front sandwich to make antenae. *Cut a small mouth and 2 eyes from the red pepper. Arrange on the front sandwich, securing with cocktail sticks. (Make sure the cocktail sticks are removed before eating). Converted by MC_Buster. NOTES : A fun way of making and serving sandwiches, ideal for a childrens party. Converted by MM_Buster v2.0l.
