Ingredients

Preparation

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15 to 20 minutes. Preheat the grill to medium-low heat. Place a marshmallow on the end of each skewer. Break the chocolate bars into 4 pieces each and place 1 piece on each of the 8 graham cracker halves. Carefully hold the skewered marshmallows over the grill for 3 to 4 minutes, or until done to your liking. Top each piece of chocolate with a toasted marshamallow, then another graham cracker half, making sandwiches. Serve immediately. NOTE: When I was growing up, we speared our marshmallows with sticks. Skewers are definitely a better choice (cause they dont add that woodsy taste of tree bark)! Converted by MC_Buster. NOTES : Makes 8 Sandwiches Converted by MM_Buster v2.0l.

My young nieces really enjoyed making these simple campfire treats. This open fire version of s'mores is the real deal...toasty marshmallows with ooey-gooey centers and smudged with bits of burn from being too close to the fire, layered with melting milk chocolate and crisp, crunchy graham crackers. A truly satisfying desert that leaves everyone wanting "some more."
