Bubble And Squeak Ingredients
1 1/2 c Cooked; mashed
potato
es
1 pn
Nutmeg
1 1/2 c Cooked; diced Brussels
Salt and
pepper
; to taste
1
Egg
; beaten
1/2 c
Flour
1/2 c Grated
cheddar
cheese
Vegetable oil
; for frying
Instructions for Bubble And Squeak
Combine potatoes, Brussels sprouts, egg, cheese, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Form mixture into four patties. Season with salt and pepper. Dust patties lightly with flour and place in hot oil. Flip when brown, about two to three minutes per side. Drain on paper towels and serve. Serves 2. Comments: This is a good way to use leftover potatoes and vegetables.
