Best Broccoli Ingredients

4 cups Broccoli pieces 1/4 cup Cold water
1 teaspoon Extra virgin olive oil Soy sauce or Salt to taste
3 Cloves garlic minced Red pepper flakes ta taste

Instructions for Best Broccoli

Separate the broccoli florets from the stems. Peel the stems and cut them into bite sized pieces. Break the florets into bite sized pieces. Place all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Tightly cover and let steam for no more than 5 minutes. The broccoli should be bright green.

I topped this with a drizzle of Aioli. Adding just a tiny pinch of baking soda to the boiling water helps the broccoli stay bright green.
