Banana Split Cake Ingredients

2 c Vanilla wafers;crushed 8 tb Margarine;melted

Instructions for Banana Split Cake

MMMMM------------------------SECOND LAYER----------------------------- 8 tb Margarine;softened 8 oz Cream cheese 1 pk 10X sugarMMMMM------------------------THIRD LAYER----------------------------- 1 cn Crushed pineapple,largeMMMMM------------------------FOURTH LAYER----------------------------- 4 ea Large bananas;slicedMMMMM------------------------FIFTH LAYER----------------------------- 1 pk COOL WHIP,large 1 c Coconut 1/2 c Pecans;chopped 1 x Maraschino cherries FIRST LAYER-Mix together and press into 9 x 13 pan. SECOND LAYER-Stir in enough pineapple juice to make mixture smooth. Spread over first layer. THIRD LAYER-Drain pineapple completely. Spread over second layer. FOURTH LAYER-Arrange banana slices over third layer. FIFTH LAYER-Spread Cool Whip over fourth layer. Mix coconut with pecans and sprinkle over Cool Whip. Garnish with maraschino cherries. Wonderfully rich and delicious recipe. Next time I would bake the crust layer for a short time before laying other ingredients and also add chocolate syrup as a garnish. My husband couldn't get enough of this dessert. Thanks for sharing.
