1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Butter a small glass baking dish with 2 Tbsp. of the butter. 3. Slice 1/4-inch off the bottoms of the apples (so they stand up straight) and core them. 4. Combine the brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, pecans, and lemon zest in a small bowl and fill the center of each apple with a quarter of the mixture. Dot each apple with the remaining butter. 5.
