Oatmeal Waffles Ingredients

1 1/2 c Quick-cooking oats	2 c Buttermilk
1/2 c Whole wheat flour	2 Eggs
1 ts Baking soda	2 tb Butter or margarine; melted
1 ts Sugar	Peanut butter and/or
1/2 ts Salt

Instructions for Oatmeal Waffles

In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, eggs and butter; stir into the dry ingredients until smooth. Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturers directions until golden brown. Server with peanut butter and/or applesauce if desired. Yield: 6-8 waffles (6 1/2 inches).
