Hawaiian Chicken Stir-Fry Ingredients

5 ounce Chicken breast 2 teaspoon Soy sauce Lite or Regular
1 head Broccoli florets1 1/2 teaspoon Corn starch
1 cup Pineapple diced1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
1/2 cup Water 1/3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
2 tablespoon Rice vinegar 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds

Instructions for Hawaiian Chicken Stir-Fry

Rinse and cut up fresh broccoli. Rinse chicken and cut into strips. Heat non-stick wok or large skillet with the oil over medium high heat. Add chicken strips and cook until lightly browned.

Add broccoli and 1/4 cup of water, cooking until broccoli is crisp tender, about 5-6 minutes. While chicken and broccoli are cooking, combine 1/4 cup of water, rice vinegar, soy sauce, cornstarch, and onion powder in a small bowl. Add the soy sauce mixture to chicken and cook 2-3 minutes more until mixture thickens. Reduce heat, then stir in pineapple. (Fresh is far better than canned, obviously).

Cover and cook about one minute until all ingredients are heated through.

I prepared rice with this since my kids love rice, so it wasn't low carb. Although we love broccoli, chicken, and pineapple we didn't care for the combination.

Had this again tonight -- very good. Added onions after the chicken. I was surprised how little vegetable oil this recipe actually called for, and it worked fine. Added sesame seeds on top to finish it off.
