Beef Macaroni Casserole Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef browned, drained8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 pkg. or 5 Tbsp. onion soup mix 2 cups cooked macaroni
1 Tbsp. flour 1/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions for Beef Macaroni Casserole

Onion soup mix spices up this easy beef and pasta casserole. Preheat oven to 400F. Combine ground beef, soup mix, flour and tomato sauce with 2 cups water.
Cover and simmer 5 minutes.

Stir in macaroni.

Turn into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 15 minutes. Serves 6.

Very Good!: I made on 7/23/05. I omitted the cheese. I used a heaping tablespoon of flour. I also used Penne pasta (I happened to have a started packaged). After preparing, it was somewhat soupy, so I added some additional flour (Wonder flour). The next time just prepare as listed (still omitting the cheese). Upon setting the casserole will thicken. I fact, I have to add some water when I warmed up the next day.

I added garlic and used 2 cans of tomato sauce and cut down the water. It was really tasty. I will make this again
