This was VERY simple to make and had wonderful results. (But not in my toaster oven.) Easy to add a handful of walnuts.

I substituted almond meal (ground almonds, available at Trader Joe's) for half of the flour. Delicious. Also, I used 2 smaller loaf tins to make 2 smaller loaves.

This was the easiest recipe I have ever made. I had everything on hand and it was done in a split of a second. My husband fell in love with this because it is not to sweet and it is very moist. He will be asking for this all the time now. He will either drink coffee or milk, or even by itself. it is very delicious.

The best I have ever tried, not too soggy and not too dense.
