Basic Fried Rice Ingredients

3 md eggs 4 cups Cooked rice
1 med. Onion diced4 oz. mixed peas and carrots
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil Soy Sauce to taste

Instructions for Basic Fried Rice

Lightly beat the eggs with a pinch of the salt. Heat oil in a preheated wok or skillet, and lightly scramble the eggs. Add the rice and stir. Add the remaining salt, onions, and peas. Blend well and serve.

Note: Get creative by adding diced pork or chicken and turning this side dish into a complete entree

Left out the onion, added a red bell pepper. Looked gorgeous and tasted wonderful. Very easy.

A great recipe! I would suggest stir-frying the onions and meat first and then adding the rice. Once blended pour the beaten eggs over the rice and stir-fry, this ensures that the egg mixture coats the rice a bit better. Then throw in any additional veggies and stir fry for a minute or two more.
