Parmesan Roasted Asparagus Ingredients

2 1/2 pounds fresh asparagus (about 30 large)1/4 teaspoon black pepper - freshly ground
2 tablespoon olive oil 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese - freshly grated
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1 large Lemon cut in wedges for serving

Instructions for Parmesan Roasted Asparagus

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. If the stalks of the asparagus are thick, peel the bottom 1/2 of each. Lay them in a single layer on a sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, until tender. Sprinkle with the Parmesan and return to the oven for another minute. Serve with lemon wedges

This was so easy and fast to make. Nice and tender. I added some McCormick Rosemary and Garlic grind to it. This will become a family favorite. Hubby raved about it. Served it with a Porkloin with Hunter sauce that was cooking in the crockpot and garlic mashed potatoes with sauteed onions and mushroom as a side.

I sprayed the pan with nonstick butter spray prior to putting the spears in and drizzling with the olive oil. Don't know if it helped, but it certainly didn't hurt. ;^)
