Roasted Carrots Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon ground black
pepper
3 tablespoon
Olive oil
2 tablespoon Minced fresh
parsley
1 1/4 teaspoons
Kosher salt
Instructions for Roasted Carrots
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
If the carrots are thick, cut them in half lengthwise, if not , leave whole. Slice the carrots diagonally in 1 1/2 inch thick slices. (The carrots will shrink while cooking so make the slices big.) Toss them in a bowl with the olive oil, salt and pepper. Transfer to a sheet pan in 1 layer and roast in the oven for 20 minutes, until browned and tender.
Toss the carrots with miced parsley, season to taste, and serve.

how about turnip,cooked to fork tender, add a small amount of butter, lots of freshly ground pepper,and mashed until all lumps are gone. i prefer this to potatoes. as for the carrots , iwould add a small amount of honey right before servering

My wife and I both liked these carrots. Much more tender and sweet than the usual boiled carrots.
