Coconut Cream Pie Ingredients

-- Filling --1/2 can Baker Angel Flake Coconut
1 cup Sugar -- Meringue --
2 tablespoon Cornstarch 1/4 cup Sugar
2 cups Milk 1/2 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
1 teaspoon Vanilla 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
2 Egg yolks beaten until light

Instructions for Coconut Cream Pie

Filling:

All ingredients together except coconut. Into sauce pan. Heat stirring constantly until it thickens. Add coconut. Pour into baked pie shell.


Meringue:

Beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Add other ingredients to egg whites. Beat again until mixture peaks. Place meringue over pie and sprinkle with more coconut. Bake until lightly brown at 350 degrees.
