Tasty with the garlic.

I thought these were good but not real tasty. It needs something else. I used fresh rosemary as was suggested in the other comments. One said she added paprika which I may try adding the smoked paprika on my next try.

Fresh is best! I have an herb garden, and rosemary grows abundant in my florida zone 9. I make this side dish, and by adding rosemary and garlic to this colorful green vegetable makes it a perfect choice to go along with baked italian style chicken, or grilled veal chop.

We really liked these. I used fresh rosemary and next time I'll try adding a little butter to the olive oil mixture. I also loved how easy it was!

I already make this recipe (but always with fresh beans, as I find the frozen ones too soft and tasteless). When I have fried the garlic, etc, before adding the beans, I add one teaspoon (heaped) of sweet paprika, let it fry for around one minute, be careful not to burn it. Then I add the beans and it makes a completely different flavour.Adults appreciate this more than children!

Simple but great variation on plain vegetables!

Wonderful bright flavor for springtime. Consider pairing with chicken and wild rice; but could complement many great recipes.
